Hi Jon how great to make contact and catch up with what you are doing musically these days.I was a big fan of Edward II and have been to more gigs than I care to remember, I still occasionally play Jenny lind while rehearsing, incidentally I was recently working with a guy from Moss side and the subject of the band came up and he knew Alton and Todd and said he was pretty sure Alton had returned home.
Anyhow I look forward to hearing the Django influenced stuff,Django's music was just about the only music my Dad and I agreed on, although it came sometimes make me wonder why I bother and want to take a hammer to my guitars, anyhow all the best

Am just writing mention the Open Jam Session at the Stonewell Tavern Every Sunday between 3-5.Would be ace to hear a proper Jazz Guitarist.
Please put the word out too, last week was the first week and went well, 5 horn, players, 2 piano players, rhythms section and only 2 guitars ! there was other high lights, like Chas on Vibes, and Jerry the enthusiastic Landlords Louis Armstrong Impression ! Am hoping that more musos get to know so that there is a place in town where players of all kinds of style can conglomerate to fuse styles or not so all the shreddin doesn't go to waste.
